True that. However, Exim's default config has this:
# Accept mail to postmaster in any local domain, regardless of the
# source, and without verifying the sender.
accept local_parts = postmaster
domains = +local_domains
So if there ever is a configurable envelope sender for sender callouts,
I guess it could be recommended to use postmaster@yourdomain. And a huge
warning about its implications if mis-set.
