Works well for incoming messages, too. Example:

helo_data = ${lookup{$interface_address}lsearch*{/etc/exim/ifmap}}

And this neatly sets the greeting to the host name desired, which is
even required for TLS when the hostname in the greeting needs to match
the name given in the certificate to prevent MUA popups about hostname
mismatch.
