Hi group, according to above list archive entry exim4 was supposed to
support shadow transports on the SMTP transport. Is this possible? My
attempts here have been unsuccessful, dying with an error message
telling me it still isn't possible.

If they simply haven't been implemented, and are relatively trivial to
implement (I can invest some time in this) I would be willing to try to
modify exim myself.

Alternatively, is there an easy way to duplicate an incoming message os
that it could be delivered to two transports independantly? I have a
blurry image of some special aliases/transports/kludge combination, but
being a complete newbie, I'm sure there's probably a nicer way of doing
this.

Essentially, I want to log all incoming and outgoing mail to Maildirs,
grouped by receiver and sender respectively.

   mail_recv_log:
      driver = appendfile
      maildir_format
      create_directory
      directory = /home/.../mail-incoming/$local_part
      user = datactics

This accomplishes my first goal, and I have a similar transport instance
which, had shadow transports on remote transports worked, would have
allowed me to accomplish my second goal.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

David.
