Subject: [Exim] Deny hosts - acl_smtp_connect
Hi Gurus,

In exim 4, I am trying to use acl_smtp_connect to prevent spammers getting
connected to my mail server. Following are the lines I use to implement
this.

acl_smtp_connect = check_4_denyhosts
.
.
.
begin acl
.
.
.
check_4_denyhosts:
accept hosts = ! lsearch;/etc/denyhosts ## But this rejects all hosts

#################################

I also tried

check_4_denyhosts:
deny hosts = lsearch;/etc/denyhosts ## But this also does not accept
any hosts

####################################

I have /etc/denyhosts with 744 permission!(like other list files made for
exim)

I didnt find anything much about this in the exim doc and google also
doesn't seem to of great help.

Where am I going wrong?

Other solutions for the same are more than welcome.

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!
