Hi Folks
Apologies for the OT post, but I can't think of anyone more qualified
than you people to shunt me in the right direction!
There was quite a hoo-ha in the Uk a while back about the government
wanting to pass legislation which obliged all companies over a certain
number of employees to retain copies of all e-mails. Can't remember the
exact motivation, but I was wondering whether anyone knew of the current
status of this issue? Is it a legal requirement in the UK in certain
circumstances? I googled a bit on the issue, and it hasn't thrown up
anything meaningful yet.
