Whoa! Whoa! Everybody ... this was a kite that was flown. Tcl was a
'frinstance that Tony happened to mention. I'm not thinking of doing
this. I'm not even thinking about thinking about doing anything like
this. Actually, I'm getting towards not thinking about Exim at all until
February (except when I'm at Linux.Conf.au).

I think the substantive point is: IF it is decided to make the
substantial changes that people say are desirable (loops, repeated
conditions, variables - essentially, more "program-like" features), THEN
I suspect it would be better to completely re-design the format, and
this MAY be made easier by adopting an existing language. Tcl is an
example of a possibly suitable language. I know nothing about Tcl.
People have already posted contrary opinions, so clearly not everybody
likes it.
