You might be able to arrange this by using the "dnsdb" lookup to do the
MX lookup for yourself (and then doing the A lookup). However, if there
is more than one MX record, handling all of this is probably too
complicated.
I haven't followed this thread in detail, but another feature that
messes with IP routing is the translate_ip_address option. Is this any
use?
