[Exim] Socket operation on non-socket

Hello,
I am having the following problem with Exim 4.20. I am using a transport
filter, which I believe may be causing this problem. Can anyone shed some
light on this?

That happens in that order when there's > 2 deliveries to one host
consistently, regardless of their mail server.

Ideas?
