at work, I use MySQL and this wouldn't be a problem.

I did something similar for an IP blacklist.

But, a home user (animx.eu.org hosts only myself). I just don't see a need
in yet another server running. It can handle it, but... OTOH, any server
that keeps banging on my server gets into the 'shitcan' rule on my firewall
(LOGs the packet and drops it on the floor)
