If that's the only group with id 6 [1], then your exim configuration
file can't be okay. :-)

Can you show us line 226 and surrounding lines? I haven't touched the
ports/mail/exim-old port in ages, so I don't think I could have broken
it recently. :-)

If you don't have to support a complicated old configuration, I highly
recommend ports/mail/exim instead. If your ports tree is old and you
don't have ports/mail/exim-old, it's time for an update.
