[Exim] group mail was not found

Hi all,

When i try start exim, i get the follow error message:

# exim -bd -q30m
2003-06-05 17:14:54 Exim configuration error
group mail, referred to in line 226, was not found

But the group mail is in the /etc/group

# cat /etc/group | grep mail:
mail:*:6:

and the exim configuration file is ok!!!

Please, somebody can help me?!

I'm using FreeBSD 4.8 STABLE and exim-3.36_1
