a) did you do a queue run?
If you want to say "Do you use queue_only " I'm using immediately
delivery
b) timeout_frozen_after will only get rid of frozen messages (e.g.
bounces
which cannot be delivered). Maybe the messages you're trying to get rid
of
aren't frozen - in that case, you need to look at the retry
configuration
(search for "begin retry" in your config, and look at the Exim manual)
This is my retry configuration
* * F,2h,10m; G,16h,1h,1.5; F,4d,4h
But still 7 day left messages are in the queue ..
I set
retry_data_expire = 4d
but still same ....
