Excellent, (naturally I'm annoyed at myself for not spotting that
myself, but that's the way it goes...)

And when I try this manually with a -bh, it says, inter alia:

which is nice ;-)

Understood, and I'm following the discussion with interest; but I
think the above recipe would satisfy the present questioner's
requirements, after all, without having to enumerate all 14 values:
and no patches required.
