Hi all
Ever since I upgraded to exim 4 I get the following errors every night
in the system log file. I have had a look at the exim log files and
there is no activity regarding these error. I don't think I am losing
any mail - but you can never be sure.
> pid 3621 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 4233 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 4763 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 5082 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 5145 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 5937 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 7378 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 7541 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
> pid 8555 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on signal 11
I have had a dig around and people seems to be getting this a few years
ago. I am running FreeBSD 4 Stable. I upgraded to exim 4.10 and then
to 4.12 and I get the same errors every day.
gdm# uname -a
FreeBSD gdm.gdmckee.local 4.7-STABLE FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE #2: Wed Jan 15

gdm#
Here is the log extract for the pid 8555 error
gdm# grep 8555 /var/log/messages
Mar 3 02:34:01 gdm /kernel: pid 8555 (exim-4.12-1), uid 26: exited on
signal 11
gdm#
And here is the mainlog output

And the reject log is empty and so is the paniclog.
Does any one have any ideas how to fix it - or is it nothing really to
worry about?
Thanks in advance
