The last I heard, X-based systems aren't immune to nasties, either -
.png files with buffer-overflow payloads, etc. Hope that no-one has got
it into their heads that it's only MS that's susceptible to nasties.

As platforms such as Gnome and KDE become more widespread (and that's
happening at an exponential rate), healthy paranoia (oxymoron) should be
encouraged among all Unix/Linux sysadmins.
