Subject: [Exim] helo_data
Hi,

I'm on a mailing list that require that the helo command
sends the fully qualifyed domain name and not just the hostname
as it does by default. So I searched the documentation and found this:

"helo_data (smtp)

Type: string, expanded
Default: "$primary_hostname"

The value of this option is expanded, and used as the argument for the
EHLO or HELO command that starts the outgoing SMTP session."

I edited the config file and added
helo_data = moria.cytech.nu

But when I now try to send mail via my smtp-server it doesn't accept
my mails. When I remove the helo_data it all works fine again.

What's wrong? Have I misunderstod something?
