Subject: [Exim] Relay mail on network
I have debian woody with exim on 2 machines. littleone is machine #1 and has
been in use for a couple years. I dialup and used eximconfig #2 to set it
up. I added a Rewrite to it:

*@littleone ${lookup{$1}lsearch{/etc/email-addresses}\
                        {$value}fail} bcfrF

sidekick is machine #2 and I just set it up. I have nfs and internet
sharing working. I am trying to use that machine for routine stuff
including mail.

In /etc/exim/exim.conf I included 'host_accept_relay =192.168.12.0/24' and
restarted exim. It still works fine if I do mail on that machine.

I really don't know what to do with machine #2. I've tried a few things,
but am getting frozen mail. All I want to do is have internal mail stay and
external mail go through the other machine and out. I have only one user
and one ISP for outgoing mail.

fetchmail works on machine #2. root mail is coming to user with the
announcements of the frozen mail :-) I have looked at the section in the
manual on controlling relaying and I am not controlling very well. I need
some simple clues. I tried searching the archives of this list, but
apparently don't know the terms to put into the search. I didn't see
anything matching my situation.

Thanks.
