    This is what your command yields:

Exim version 3.36 debug level 9 uid=0 gid=0
probably Berkeley DB version 1.8x (native mode)
Caller is an admin user
Caller is a trusted user
originator: uid=0 gid=0 login=root name=Chaos
sender address = root@???
set_process_info: 4101 accepting a local non-SMTP message from
<root@???>
Sender: root@???
Recipients:
postmaster@???
search_tidyup called

    After which it tells me only about headers.
    If I add a -bt to yours, it still delivers correctly (or says it
does)
    This is the full log of one of the bounced mails (including
amavis info):

2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-000154-00 <= root@???
U=root P=local S=329
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-00015F-00 <= root@???
U=amavis P=scanned-ok S=539 id=E189LPv-000154-00@???
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-00015F-00 remote host address is the local
host: chaos.evolve.za.net
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-00015F-00 ==
postmaster@??? R=lookuphost defer (-1): remote host
address is the local host
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-00015F-00 Frozen
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-000154-00 =>
postmaster@??? R=amavis_router T=amavis
2002-11-06 10:20:03 189LPv-000154-00 Completed

    Not sure if it helps anything.

    Is it possible for that amavis is causing local_domains to
somehow
    be avoided?

    I would like to send my entire config to anyone who is willing to
    check it please.

Thanks again
Dave.

: You started a daemon in daebug-mode, thats-fine, BUT.
: echo "test" |mail postmaster@???
: will start a new independent exim-process to deliver the mail.
:
: start with exim -d9 -oMr scanned-ok postmaster@???

: The -oMr scanned-ok part will (most probably) skip your
amavis-director,
: so the mail goes through your other directors without scanning.
Without
: this option, the debuglog will stop after running amavis.
