Subject: Receiving mail without using Netscape

For about a month we have been having trouble receiving mail in a
dial-up system from the remote server. Everything works OK only with
Mozilla (Netscape) but not with Fetchmail, Exim, and Mutt. The problem
arose when we installed a bunch of programs via Debian apt-get (the
Debian package retrieval program), but I don't recall whether any new
mail-sensitive programs were installed.

Any counsel will be appreciated.
