Subject: [Exim] Header reports AMaViS but it's not used
First, I want to thank Mr. Hazel and all who have contributed to providing a
slick MTA. (I'm not a Linux wizard, and my implementation of Exim is most
likely a puny effort, compared to most.)

Second, I have a small annoyance in received e-mail headers:
X-Virus-Scanned: by AMaViS perl-11

I don't use AMaViS (or any other anti-virus scanning at the MTA level...
because that takes place at the user's computer) and I don't have anything
set in the Exim 3.34 configuration file that could trigger such a header
entry. (AMaViS isn't even installed on my mail server.) How does that
happen and how can I supress it? I've read through the various help files,
but I must be missing something...

Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Regards,
