Hi!

I just switched to MacOS X from Linux and installed UUCP / Exim 4.04
first thing.

I'm using batched SMTP and propagate the incoming batches
by calling "exim -bS".

However, I get my mail only partly.

What I find in the paniclog is:

2002-05-08 13:36:10 175Pju-0000B5-0a Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//175Pju-0000B5-0a-D: File exists
2002-05-08 13:37:38 175PlK-0000CI-0a Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//175PlK-0000CI-0a-D: File exists
2002-05-08 13:37:48 175PlU-0000Ck-0a Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//175PlU-0000Ck-0a-D: File exists

I run Exim in a very default configuration with no tricks (Filesystem
is HFS+, MacOS 10.1.4, gcc 2.95.2). The configure file is
also the default one, with a few extra lines for batching
outgoing mail.

As I got my PowerBook quite new - any hints for debugging?
Is there something like "truss" / "strace" for MacOS X? Or
could I include any additional lines in the code?

Cheers,

Georg
