No, that will go trough a drop box at the ISP.

Thats how i run it at my home setup.
But the point here was "Is it possible to set up a MX pointer without a DNS?" and i am pretty convinced that the answer is no. But the customer wanted a second opionion and .... GAH i think ill start selling hotdogs instead.
