-R works like -L. In other words you need -R/usr/local/mysql/lib not just
-R by itself (assuming that libmysqlclient is installed in
/usr/local/mysql/lib of course.

Also fix your local system time or whatever is generating your Date
headers. You're 3 months behind the rest of the world.
