[Exim] Exim not showing Auth?

I've got Exim seup to accept smtp connections after auth on certain IPs
(i.e. external IPs I commonly connect from). However, for some reasons, when
exim answers and gives it's esmtp responce, the AUTH command is not in them.
Example:

220 shortcircuit.dyndns.org ESMTP Exim 3.31 #2 Mon, 01 Oct 2001
09:13:44 -0600
ehlo duron
250-shortcircuit.dyndns.org Hello slc693.modem.xmission.com [166.70.7.185]
250-SIZE
250-PIPELINING
250 HELP

Thats all I got. Now if you look at my exim.comf, you will see that that IP
is deffinetly within the Auth range I specified:

auth_hosts = 207.173.222.0/24 : 166.70.7.0/20

Ok, now unless my math is COMPLETLY off, 166.70.7.185 is within the range
166.70.7.0/20, Correct? So why no auth in the esmtp header responce??
