I eventually took orbs out of my config for just that reason. I remember
hearing rumors that orbs was going to bite it. Perhaps they did. I did a
host call on relays.orbs.org and it came up with one host: 127.0.0.2. I
think that MAY be whats up. 127.0.0.2 is equivalant of 127.0.0.1, namely
it's a localhost. So if Exim checks all active IPs in the check, then
127.0.0.2 will cause exim to get a true value back, thus blocking.
What you can do to allow mail to flow is change orbs from a /reject to a
/warn till we can determine for sure if Orbs is alive or not.
