Subject: [Exim] exim in a commercial enviroment
Ladies & Gents

Firstly, three apologies:

1. My question is slightly off-topic for the list.
2. I don't wish to exclude academia, I know your messaging requirements are
identical to ours.
3. The disclaimer commonly appended to my email is a bit of a shocker ;-)

I have proposed that my employer move their internal Unix messaging over to
exim. Concerns have been voiced that exim is freely distributed (BTW, I
don't want to provoke a discussion on the merits of GPL software - I have no
problem in using the best tools for the job...)

In order to allay fears, I have been asked to collate a list of commercial
organisations that implement exim (honestly.) I understand that Energis,
Demon, BT Internet and PSINet all use exim within their Unix infrastructure.
I wondered how many other commercial organisations use exim and if anyone
else had experienced a similar issue trying to justify its usage?

Please feel free to respond to my email address (I'm keen to avoid clogging
the list with this sort of trivia.)

My thanks in advance.

Paul
