[Exim] errors_copy

do I really have everyone so stumped that no one can answer a simple
question of why errors_copy is not working?

my errors_copy line currently reads as:
errors_copy = *@* dan@???
(placed in the main config section)

But whenever an error message is generated (for example, a mail server
replies that the specified user does not exist) only the original sender is
getting the error message.

Whats wrong? Anyone?
