Hi all,

Odd problem:

I have a text file for xalias lookups in the following format:

incoming address        local address
*@<login>.domain        <login>@domain

the file contains 9000+ entries.

When using exim_dbmbuild to create a db file from the above
text file, it states that the correct number of entries have been insert

(cat <file>|wc matches "entries written" output of exim_dbmbuild)

problem is that the dbm file does not contain all of the entries. Looks
to be approx 300 entries from the end of the file (in this case all
entries that start with z and y )

However this does not occur all the time. The dbm build is cron'ed for
every 20 minutes. If one failes (i.e. some entries missing) i can
manually build the db file and all entries are there. Note file sizes
are exactly the same (i realise this is possible) and the entries
written output allways matches the correct number in the text file its
built from.

I am currently running with lsearch*@ , but would rather go back to
dbm's

Anyone seen anything similar or can shed some light on this ?
