actually, all is documented. everything. to the last weenie bit. but
you've heard that before ;P.
i suggest you get a copy of debian's eximconfig, and use that to
create an initial conffile. if you're not on debian, likely you will
have to tweak it a bit, but basically that will be a very good start
(it almost never generates a non-working conffile, but you're not
going to run into that problem anyway).
after that you really will need to read exim's documentation. there's
simply no other way. no. nil. not a shortcut. not a straight way. you
have to go by the learning curve.

no, you don't. you certainly don't have read every single option in
the manual - you need to read the first couple of chapters, by then
you'll get a hang of it. the rest is just reference, which you are
going to use if you need some specific thing there.
