Stay away for RH 7.0 the config files are broken as is Linuxconf, etc. 7.1 has the usual fixes

RH's suggestion is that I write an installer as my contribution to the Linux effort.
Or their bottom line....

Not speaking for Red Hat in any way...

The RPM set I released earlier in
the week is likely to have exactly
this problem. I only have a couple
of RH71 machines around since our
infrastructure is still RH62 based,
I have no RH70 machines and cannot
build or test against them.

To make matters worse, my RH62 RPMs
will be built against openssl 0.9.6
which is not a RH supplied package
(I consider their hacked openssl
add-on for RH62 to be badly broken -
some of the protocols have been
removed and it is not link
compatible with the standard
openssl).

In either of these cases, and also
for RHs exim packages, I would
strongly suggest that people get the
SRPM and rebuild that (rpm --rebuild
x.y.src.rpm)

    Nigel.
