I thought I had read somewhere that Exim 4 would have some
shared memory available to all the processes; which I thought
might help with caching the DB handles between processes.
Thanks for your reply Philip; time to head off to the MySQL
mailing list and see if it's possible to limit connections
on a per host basis.
