If you want to be strictly accurate:
1. MBX locking rules use fcntl() locks.
2. fcntl() locks don't work over NFS when more than one host has

Actually, it isn't that the locks don't work, it's that the cached data
from the server that is held inside the client is not refreshed when a
lock is granted after a wait.
