Hi.

I have SSL support compiled in and login authentication working. I tried $authenticated_sender but I get nothing. If anyone has a config to do this already, I would love to have a peek at it.

Pleas set a line-wrap of less than 75 chars. Thank you.

To your question:
Exim authentification is used to allow users to use exim as a mail-relay,
which isn't what you want with a mailing-list. Instead, install a
mailinglist-manager (petidomo, majordomo, mailman, etc.) and use the
mailinglist-manager to handle authentificatoin.
Ususally you should be able to authentificate with originating From-Adress
(can easily be manipulated), Password etc. However, this is not an
exim-related question.
