Subject: [Exim] No rule to make target `buildconfig.c', needed by buildconfig
Hi
I am trying to compile exim 3.16 under Solaris 8 on a Sparc10,
with gcc 2.95.2 (tried also with egcs 1.1.2).
I get the follow output from make (gmake) :
bash-2.03$ make
`Makefile' is up to date.
make[1]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/exim-3.16/build-SunOS5-5.8-sparc'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `buildconfig.c', needed by
`buildconfig'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/exim-3.16/build-SunOS5-5.8-sparc'
make: *** [go] Error 2
Checked the FAQ and searched the archives - surely I'm not the first
person to be afflicted with such a message ?
Any help greatly appreciated.
