[Exim] RFC821 BSMTP SIZES

I notice that RFC821 4.5.3 SIZES specifies under 'ricipients buffer', 'the maximum total number of recipients that must be buffered is 100 recipients'

If I pipe more than 100 recipients to exim -bS, will such a message be rejected, or will exim handle the administrative issues and batch them 100 at a time, or is in fact that limit not a limitation in exim's design?
