Subject: Re: [Exim] A recommended Mailing list manager for Exim?
I'm reading this thread carefully to decide which maillist to switch
to (and to port eVote to) one day soon. Majordomo is not good. Maybe
Majordomo 2 will be but the current model is to be avoided. It's all
there was for free when I started.

Thanks Jeffrey for your vote of confidence but I do not have it
secured. I rely on it's "approve" feature and subscription confirm
feature. The subscription confirm feature, the majordomo people tell
me, is easily hacked. That's the big hole in my computer but no one's
taken advantage of it yet. I hear there are patches around for fixing
that up.

Our big attacks came on individual's addresses and on the petition
facility. I have good security for those things now. I consider exim to
be my best security device.

I was thinking of mailman, because it is gnu-supported and because
this list runs on it. I figure they know something here!

So, thanks for this discussion. I need it to.
