[Exim] am I losing mails???

Hi,

I have produced a local system with a rather experimental setup: I use
LDAP for authentication/Exim/IMAP and now exim seems to be acting up.
I repeatedly got messages of the form

2000-04-26 22:00:02 12kXyc-0002H4-00 Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//12kXyc-0002H4-00-D: Keine Berechtigung
2000-04-26 22:00:02 12kXyc-0002H4-00 Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//12kXyc-0002H4-00-D: Keine Berechtigung
2000-04-26 22:00:02 12kXyc-0002H4-00 Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim/input//12kXyc-0002H4-00-D: Keine Berechtigung

where "keine Berechtigung" means something like "no permission". I am
using exim version 3.13.

- Does this look obvious to anybody?
- Is the "...input//12..." correct?
