You don't want rDNS *control*, you just want a valid rDNS,
whatever it is.

Both the www and the MX for linuxrouter.org point to
24.26.54.255. 24.26.54.255 has a perfectly valid rDNS in the
form of dplanw-54-255.pompano.net.
I sympathize, but I fail to see your problem.
BTW, if you want a real second secondary DNS instead of having
four records pointing to two IP addresses, I can help (for one).
