However, splitting the director's access options in localpart and
domain inhibits using a file like /etc/exim/deferred_addresses for
configuration. In a future release, there should be a condition option
for whole addresses.

I would like to see delays like this incorporated into
aliasfile-syntax...

<ramble>
A delayed address <local@domain> could be aliased to
<local-delayed@domain> with the smartuser director kicking in on
addresses that match <.*-delayed> as a local part. After the message
age condition has passed, it could be deliverd via an director that
strips off a -delayed suffix. However, users on the system couldn't
use local parts ending on -delayed...
