You've got to be kidding! Are you saying that the majority of replies to
list messages are not directed back at the list, but rather at the original
poster of the message? I find this very difficult to believe. In my
experience (limited as it may be), less than 10% of the time do I want to
repond back to the poster instead of to the list. So what you're saying is
because there are people out there who don't pay attention at all to where
their responses are going, and they accidentally send a personal response to
the list, we all have to make sure we _don't_ send our responses personally
by accident. Gee, that's a win...
"You should need to think before posting to the list" means what? Doesn't it
also apply to lists with Reply-To set, meaning "You should need to think
before replying to a list message if you don't want the reply to be public"?
