Mmm, in the same message or on subsequent messages. I'm not worried
about subsequent messages, it is later individuals on the same message that
have me worried.

Actually, after watching it once I noticed that it looked like the
message went through, exim just sat there for 5 minutes before doing
anything. :/

Here are the remote stats from yesterday.

Under 1m 137 92.6% 92.6%
        5m 1 0.7% 93.2%
       15m 2 1.4% 94.6%
       30m 7 4.7% 99.3%
        1h 1 0.7% 100.0%

The 11 messages over 1 minute all had the same behavior. Exim sitting
there for 5-10+ minutes on a single connection doing nothing.

Remote stats for the past week.

Under 1m 294 92.5% 92.5%
        5m 3 0.9% 93.4%
       15m 12 3.8% 97.2%
       30m 7 2.2% 99.4%
        1h 1 0.3% 99.7%
Over 1d 1 0.3% 100.0%

As you can see, since I added that one mailing list (almost up to 30
people now) it has constituted a majority of the delays for the past week. I
know, I'm just a tiny little speck compared to what Exim can be put through
but I can't help but think there is something there that might also be
delaying mail for larger sites that just isn't as readily apparent because
their numbers are significantly larger.
