That would be a solution for incoming mail. However, I don't know if
it's possible to have Exchange receive for address@???
while having l^husers send as address@???. Exim could do some
rewriting here, but I think that's neither elegant nor nice.

This sounds practicable. However, I don't have a clue about LDAP. And
it doesn't solve the outgoing problem.
