Subject: [EXIM] Broken Pipe / Remote closed connection
Dear folks,

here is a problem. I am sending a 2 MB mail to a friend
@airbus.dasa.de (MX=193.96.150.2). This seems to be a firewall
SMTP Server.

In case Exim delivers this message I get a "Remote end closed
connection after Data" or a "Broken pipe".

I called exim with -d9 -M msgid. The whole beginning looks
normal. I then got a lot of writing data block size=8188 timeout=300. The
ending looks like:

writing data block size=8188 timeout=300
ok=0 send_quit=0 send_rset=1 continue_more=0 yield=2 first_address=0
set_process_info: 2711 2.052 delivering 10Jvbs-0000X0-00: just tried
pollux.airbus.de
[193.96.150.2] for michael.paepcke@???: result DEFER

added retry item for T:pollux.airbus.de:193.96.150.2: errno=32 77 flags=2

The remote Mailer introduces himself as:

220 CheckPoint FireWall-1 secure SMTP server

Any suggestions?
