Just a thought: Relay control has gotten more and more complicated
with the addition of more and more options. May I suggest addition of
one more option?

accept_relay = <expression>

This expression should expand; perl hook should be allowed.

While it is certainly possible to get most standard configurations
with the configuration options already available, there are always
weird forms of desired behavior that are difficult, clumsy or outright
impossible to describe with the options available.

The canonical way to get these configurations to work was requesting a
change with you and using a new option that has been implemented with
the next version.

With the generic "accept_relay" option, you basically can do
everything. The exim expression language is powerful, but perl hooks
are even more powerful.

I believe that implementing "accept_relay" would bring the
uncontrolled growth of relay control options to a halt.

Greetings
Marc
