There is some relaying protection, I was going to suggest that you run a
relay test off of

estates-nt.estates.cranfield.ac.uk

but of course it appears that the SMTP server is down again. Anyway, I
believe that there is basic relay protection.

Please note, that I am not attempting to defend a choice for MS-Exchange,
but when criticizing, we should be extra careful to get our facts
straight.
