IBTD. The purpose of the RBL IMHO is to save the recipient the time to
wade through the spam. Personally, I don't care if the spam gets to my
local system as long it is thrown away or bounced there and I don't
have to see it.

I agree with you on the "right" way. However, in the past, I have
tried to convince numerous ISPs to use the RBL, ORBS or DUL to
generate warning headers, but never succeeded. They are too afraid of
giving their responsibility away. It's obviously way too political.

Also, when you are using mail addresses from different domains with
different MX's, you'd have to convince all your MX operators to add
such headers. This is serious work :-(
