I'm trying to get the go-ahead to replace XT-PP with Exim in January and it
will be used to pass mail on to a number of servers running Exchange/
MS-Mail/Sendmail/whatever. I've been asked by someone "upstairs" to find out
what other MTA/MUA packages are being used in conjuction with Exim. Quite
why this information is required is beyond me as I've proved to my own
satisfaction that Exim works fine and will deliver to these destinations.
So, if you use Exim on a system running as a mail hub, could you let me know
what MTA software you use "downstream" so-to-speak. I guess all I need to
say "upstairs" is that X number of Exim sites use Exchange, Y use MS-Mail
etc.
Meanwhile I'm off to get a very stiff drink!
