I run a server with about 1200 mailboxes
(Cyrus imapd). In the logfile there are some
strange entries:
1998-11-19 07:50:27 0zgNv9-0007xL-01 no immediate delivery: more than 10
messages received in one connection
1998-11-19 07:50:27 0zgNv9-0007xL-02 no immediate delivery: too many
connections (0, max 0)
1998-11-19 07:50:28 0zgNv9-0007xL-03 no immediate delivery: too many
connections (0, max 0)
1998-11-19 07:50:31 0zgNvD-0007y3-01 no immediate delivery: more than 10
messages received in one connection
1998-11-19 07:50:31 0zgNvD-0007y3-02 no immediate delivery: too many
connections (0, max 0)
1998-11-19 07:50:31 0zgNvD-0007y3-03 no immediate delivery: too many
connections (0, max 0)
Presumably this can be fixed by modifying some
configuration parameter?
The effect is that these messages are queued for
a while and then delivered. The machine in
question run RedHat 5.1.
