Hi,
After reading the FAQ and the exim specification for a while,
I'm stuck. I can't figure out how to deliver all mails for a specific
domain to a single host. I'm sorry to ask "silly" questions, can
someone help please?
To be more specific: my exim does accept mails for the two domains
'pirate.de' and 'another.de' (Relaying for others is forbidden). So far
so good... But now I want all incoming mails for the domain
'another.de' delivered to the host 'mail.another.de' (where another
exim will listen), the mails for 'pirate.de' should be still saved
local. How to do this, how to declare the correct router/director?
At the moment I declared both domains as 'local', the exim
specification says something about "virtual domains", I can only guess
which configuration is correct, how about this: *wild-guessing*
# Section: ROUTERS CONFIGURATION
forward_to_domain:
driver = domainlist
transport = smtp
route_list = "*.another.de mail.another.de byname"
Is this really correct, do I need to configure more?
Especially the option "byname" makes me unsure, what does it mean?
thx a lot :)
