Asunto: [EXIM] Why am I being called a liar by a remote smtp server
Over the past few weeks I have been get frozen messages for one particular
remote server.
When I try to thaw and deliver the messages I always get the same response from
this particular remote server.

Here is a sample:-

/usr/exim/bin/exim -v -M 0zCQuq-0007xf-00
delivering message 0zCQuq-0007xf-00
Connecting to crust.cg.NRCan.gc.ca [132.156.14.142] ... connected
SMTP<< 220 SEM-mailhost SMTP/smap Ready.
SMTP>> HELO hal.itg.cam.ac.uk

SMTP<< 250 (hal.itg.cam.ac.uk) pleased to meet you.
SMTP>> MAIL FROM:<>

SMTP<< 554 Liar
SMTP>> QUIT

LOG: 4 MAIN
host crust.cg.NRCan.gc.ca [132.156.14.142] closed connection after QUIT
LOG: 0 MAIN

What is going on? No other remote server is giving this problem.
